Yesterday we visited the MarI Mari Cultural centre. There were traditional buildings for all the main traditional ethnic groups in Borneo and we got a good introduction to the culture and customs of each. The Head hunter tribes were particularly interesting. Good to get a shot with a blow pipe! Great lunch too. Today we went snorkeling at a local tropical Island. It was great. Lots of fish and pretty good coal. So much fun! We had a morning session and an arvo session. So plenty of snorkeling. When we got back we bought Bus tickets for Limbang on Dec 8 and accommodation and did some other planning for our trek into Gunung Mulu national park - a world heritage area.
